Ni hao! My name is Ali Barnes and welcome to my first blog. A few things to know about me: I am a second semester senior at DePauw University and can barely contain myself at the thought of graduation. I am also an avid geologist in the making, so if it’s not easy to tell already, I love the outdoors. Geology, along with its amazing outdoor perks, is my academic passion, but primatology is a close second. As of now, upon graduation, I will be unemployed. Blame it on stubbornness, but at least I won’t be staring into a dank gray cubicle wall for months on end.
As the semester progresses, I hope to update on my job acquisitions. But quite honestly, you WILL know when I find out that I won’t be living in a cardboard box next year without me having to update.
